For law firms

Capacity you can raise, and stand down.

The work overwhelming your associates is usually the work that least needs one. We take the reviewable layer beneath the advice and return it supervised, on your precedents, ready for partner sign-off — for a deal, for a disclosure exercise, or as a standing arrangement.

The pressure

Clients expect efficiency; matters keep getting more complex; and every hour a fee earner spends on first-pass work is an hour billed at a rate the client resents or written off entirely. Hiring against a peak leaves you carrying it through the trough.

The alternative is a trained bench that exists when you need it and costs you nothing when you don't.

What we take on

  • Managed document review

First-pass and responsiveness review, privilege logging, issue coding and blind quality sampling, with an audit trail that survives challenge.

  • Due diligence review

Data room review, red-flag reports, disclosure schedules and a live issues log for M&A, financings and vendor onboarding at volume.

  • First drafts on your precedents

Agreements prepared from your own bank, in your house style, returned in a state a partner can sign rather than rewrite.

  • First-pass redlines

Incoming paper marked against your agreed fallback positions, with a short note on what moved and what needs a decision.

  • Bundles and chronologies

Hearing and trial bundles, chronologies, dramatis personae and cross-referenced indices, prepared to the directions.

  • Witness statement first drafts

Drafted from documents and notes of evidence, structured for review rather than reconstruction.

  • Arbitration support

Procedural calendars, exhibit and quantum schedules, research for submissions and hearing preparation for ICC, LCIA and ad hoc references.

  • Research memoranda

Answering the question asked, with sources, the counter-argument, and a stated level of confidence rather than a hedge.

  • Contract abstraction

Key dates, notice periods, caps, indemnities and change-of-control triggers pulled into a register your client can actually use.

  • Surge bench

A team trained on your material in advance, held ready for a filing date or a closing, and stood down without cost when it passes.

How it runs

Your file, your name, our hands.

Work is prepared on your precedents and delivered into your document management system. A qualified lawyer reviews everything before it reaches you, and anything outside the agreed scope comes back with a question rather than a guess.

You remain responsible for the work to your client, and our job is to make that responsibility straightforward to discharge — named supervision written into the engagement, conflicts checked before every matter, and a monthly account of volume, timeliness and defect rate. Where an activity is reserved to authorised persons in your jurisdiction, it stays with you.

Send us a live matter and judge the output.

A conversation, a sample of real work, then a paid pilot on a defined slice — scored against criteria we agree before it starts.
